#WVH22 was ordered in 1952 by D.L. Milne, of the U.K. and registered OFM1 and then later - probably when he sold it, 507JRE. It was customary to retain and transfer a "cherished" number to the next car, especially when it had a direct link with the owner's or a firm's initials.
#WVH22 was one of two examples of Freestone & Webb's design 3107. The other car was WVH6, the Earl's Court Show car.
This design is very spectacular because a 2-door body on such a huge chassis asks for very sleek lines.
