All pictures : The Real Car Cƒ (http://www.realcar.co.uk) #DLW65 was delivered in November 1954 to its first owner C.Parry of the U.K. and registered PXW3. This H.J.Mulliner design (#7356) is extremely elegant and it was so popular that 77 examples were made - two cars were built without quarter lights so they must be considered as saloons. The R-100 headlamps were a rare feature at the end of the 1950's but they blended so well into that design that H.J.Mulliner used them as late as Sept. 1958. The first example was built for the Earl's Court Show of Oct 1953, although it appears that another car was ready before that date and was shipped to the USA, but I guess that more time and effort were spent on the show car which cost £ 6,780 in 1953.
